Life Together

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! Psalm 133:1

Welcome to the first edition of Life Together, our brand-new weekly newsletter! My heart behind this is simple — to keep us connected, encouraged, and unified as a church family throughout the week. Each issue will include quick updates, devotional thoughts, ministry highlights, and ways we can grow in Christ together. Think of this as a check-in to help us live out our faith from Sunday to Sunday.

This past Sunday, we continued our Road to the Resurrection series by exploring the parable of the ten minas in Luke 19:11–27. We talked about what it means to be faithful stewards of the time, talents, and opportunities God has given us while we wait for Christ’s return. This coming Sunday, we’ll walk with Jesus as He enters Jerusalem with tears in His eyes (Luke 19:28–44), revealing His deep compassion for those who don’t recognize the peace He offers. It's a moment that calls us to soften our hearts and see people the way He does.

I also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who brought food for our potluck and to the ministry leaders who shared during our time together afterward. It’s always such a gift to gather not just for worship but for fellowship also.

As Easter approaches, I want to challenge each of us to begin praying for one person in our lives who needs to know the hope of the Resurrection. Maybe it’s a neighbor, a coworker, a family member, or a friend who’s drifted from faith. Ask God to bring someone to mind — and then commit to praying for them daily. Pray that their heart would be open, that God would soften any resistance, and that He would give you the boldness and the right moment to invite them. We’re not just inviting people to a service — we’re inviting them to encounter the living Christ. Easter Sunday is one of the most powerful opportunities all year to do just that. Let’s be a church that doesn’t just celebrate the resurrection for ourselves but invites others to experience its power, too. One conversation, one invitation, one step of obedience… it might be all God needs to change a life forever.
